Atsushi Takahashi began his dance and performance career in 1996. as part of Street Dance. He's been working as a solo dancer combining traditional performance artistry with elements of contemporary dance with various ensmbles seit 2006, which went down well during many performances at museums and temples in Japan. His Power of Life came into being in 2009, and went on tour to his new chosen home, Paris, in 2021. He worked in opera for the first time performing in Andrea Breth's new production of Madama Butterfly at the 2024 Festival Aix-en-Provence, which can be seen again soon at the Opéra de Lyon and Komische Oper in Berlin. Last year he performed in the closing ceremony of Expo 2025 in Osaka, in Japan's Kansai region. Atsushi Takahashi's been a member of the Japanese rock-band »Dragon Ash« for 2o years and was co-founder of the GAMA ROCK FES festival, an annual event in Shiogama, Miyagi, Japan.
