Jun Azuma started dancing at the Ballet School in Tokyo before joining the École nationale supérieure de danse de Marseille, the Conservatoire national supérieur musique et danse de Lyon and École-Atelier Rudra Béjart in Lausanne, where he took part in productions including Boleró, Le sacre du printemps, Beethoven 9 and La Gaité parisiene. His career in acting began at the Cours Florent drama school in Paris, which enabled him to take on roles in films including Karaoke (Stéphane Ben Lahcene) and Où on va (Félix Loisillon) and productions including La tour de la Défense at the Festival d'Avignon, Kangaroo Note directed by Kobo Abe and Andrea Breth’s new production of Madama Butterfly at the 2024 Festival in Aix-en-Provence, which can be seen soon at the Opéra de Lyon and Komische Oper in Berlin.
