Lovis Weller

Lovis Weller, born in Erbach in Odenwald in 2004, started piano lessons when he was four and taking part in musicals and choral projects from the age of 5 - 19. His musical education was enhanced by being taught to sing and dance. He took up the clarinet when he was 9, winning support and prizes from Odenwald's music school e.V. and „Jugend musiziert“. He joined Hessen's Youth Symphony Orchestra in 2021, working with conductors including Nicolás Pasquet, Vitali Alekseenok, Simon Gaudenz, Izabelė Jankauskaitė and Holly Hyun Choe. He was also spokesperson for the orchestra and involved in running projects. His training was furthered by taking part in masterclasses. He's been studying the clarinet at the Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy University for Music and Theatre in Leipzig with Prof. Johannes Gmeinder since 2024.
