Sara Olivieri

Sara Olivieri, who comes from Genoa, is making her debut at Oper Frankfurt in this new production of Mitridate, re di Ponto. She trained at the Liceo Germana Erba, where she danced in the Teatro Nuovo Torino's Junior Company, and the HfMDK in Frankfurt, where she obtained her Bachelor of Dance. During her studies she built up an interesting repertoire choregraphed by, amongst others, William Forsythe, Regina van Berkel, Nicole Beutler and Dieter Heitkamp. She joined Ballet Eisenach for the 2024/25 season, taking part in productions including ones choreographed by Ana Isabel Casquilho, Jorge Pérez Martinez and Andris Plucis. Sara Olivieri is interested in works delving into how potential classical and contemporary dance can evolve in today's theatre world, artistic dialogue and interdisclipinary projects.
