The Canadian dancer Andréanne Brosseau, making her debut at Oper Frankfurt in this new production of Mitridate, re di Ponto, trained at Ballet Divertimento in Montreal before joining Vienna's Music & Arts Private University from 2018 - 2022 to gain her Bachelor in Classic and Contempory Dance. She made her European professional debut during the 2021/22 season at the Burgtheater in Vienna in a production directed and choreographed by Saar Magal. During the 2022/23 season she worked as a trainee at the Staatstheater in Kassel on TANZ_KASSEL and at Kassel's Youth State Theatre, in productions choreographed by people including Andonis Foniadakis and Sanja Frühwald, and in Siegfried and Götterdämmerung, directed by Markus Dietz. She performed in Korngold's Die tote Stadt at the Staatstheater in Oldenburg and Die Fledermaus at Theater Kiel. She's also involved in artistic management, working for various institutions on productions, tour and stage management and PR. She has also made a name for herself as a dance and Pilates teacher in Canada, Austria and Germany.
