This South Korean tenor joined Oper Frankfurt's Opera Studio this season, making his debut as the Dance Master / Lamplighter in Manon Lescaut, which is followed by Marzio in the new production of Mitridate. He gained his bachelors at Yonsei University in Seoul before studying for his masters at the University for Music in Detmold in 2035. This then, bass-baritone gained experience on stage whilst still a student with roles including Figaro and Count Almaviva (Le nozze di Figaro), Don Giovanni and Escamillo (Carmen), before becoming a tenor in 2024. He enjoyed great success at the 2022 Korean Art Song Festival and joined South Korea's National Opera Studio in 2023.
