The cellist Mohamed Elsaygh, from Alexandria / Egypt, is much in demand as a passionate chamber musician, appearing regularly with renowned musicans and orchestras at home and abroad. Recent engagements have taken him to places including the Festival d’Aix-en-Provence, Young Euro Classic in Berlin, Shanghai, Vienna and Cairo. He has been under contract to the Mainfranken Theater in Würzburg since 2022/23 and is a member of the Junge Deutsche Philharmonie. After achieving his bachelors with the help of Alexander Baillie and Mladen Miloradovic at the University for Arts in Bremen he's now working for his masters at the University for Music and the Performing Arts in Frankfurt am Main with Michael Sanderling.
