Born in Columbia, Juan Camilo Rojas works as a dancer, choreographer and teacher. He studied contemporary dance and is involved in Performances and developing and furthering ways to move and dance, investigating and combining physical expression with emotional awareness. Since moving to Germany he has performed at Oper Frankfurt, Tanzmainz, the Staatstheater in Wiesbaden and Cologne Opera. He also teaches contemporary dance at the TanzRaum in Mainz and is involved in DanceNexus in Wiesbaden. He founded »La Toma del Espacio«, a dance initative in Columbia.
