This young German-Russian soprano was a member of Hessen's State Theater in Wiesbaden's ensemble from 2022-2024, during which time roles included Gilda (Rigoletto), Sophie (Der Rosenkavalier), Marzelline (Fidelio), Gretel (Hänsel und Gretel), Valencienne (The Merry Widow), Susanna, Pamina (Die Zauberflöte), Ännchen (Der Freischütz) and took part in the world premiere Søren Nils Eichberg's Oryx and Crake. She was also invited to performed at Zürich Opera, Oper Bonn, in an Opera Gala in the Tonhalle Zürich and gave recitals at the Dresden and Vilagarcia festivals. Other engagements have included Euridice in Monteverdi's L'Orfeo at the Semperoper in Dresden, concerts in Hamburg's Elbphilharmonie, the Frauenkirche in Dresden and Limburg Cathedral. She's stepped in at short notice in the past at Oper Frankfurt (as she's doing this evening, to sing Susanna in Le nozze di Figaro), Theater Basel and the Staatstheater in Meiningen. She has worked with conductors and orchestras including Alan Gilbert, Michael Güttler, Will Humburg, Konrad Junghänel and Wolfgang Katschner, the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra, Munich Radio Orchestra, the Collegium Musicum in Basel, the NDR Elbphilharmonie Orchester and the Rheinische Philharmonie. She won 1st prize and the audience prize at the 70th International ARD Music Competition. She joined the ensemble at Baden's Staatstheater in Karlsruhe this season, where you can hear her as Gretel, Adele (Die Fledermaus) and Œnone in the first performances in Germany of Jean-Baptiste Lemoyne's Phèdre. She also sings Valencienne at Zurich Opera and Sophie at the Aalto Musiktheater in Essen.
