American baritone Alexander Winn, who studied at Amarillo College and the University of Northern Colorado, is back at Oper Frankfurt, where he made his debut singing a Conspirator in Kurt Weill’s The Tsar wants his Photograph Taken, to sing 2nd Man in this new production of Aribert Reimann's Melusine.  Earlier on in his career roles included Emilio in Il capello di paglia di Firenze, Baron Duphol and the Dottore in La traviata, Sciaronne in Tosca, Mozart's Figaro, Schaunard in La Bohème for Amarillo Opera, Opera Fort Collins, Lovand Opera Company, Opera Classica Europa and the Bergedorf Musiktagen in Hamburg. Other engagements have taken him to Theater Koblenz, Theater Heidelberg, Frankfurt's Kammeroper Frankfurt, the Junge Operette Frankfurt and the Concert Chorus in Darmstadt. In 2011 Alexander Winn became a founding member of the Opera et Cetera ensemble.
