American baritone Alexander Winn, who studied at Amarillo College and the University of Northern Colorado, is making his debut at Oper Frankfurt singing a Conspirator in this new production of Kurt Weill’s The Tsar wants his Photograph Taken. Recent roles have included Emilio in Il capello di paglia di Firenze, Baron Duphol and the Doctor in La Traviata, Sciaronne in Tosca, Mozart’s Figaro, Schaunard in La Bohème for Amarillo Opera, Opera Fort Collins, Lovand Opera Company, Opera Classica Europa and the Bergedorfer Musiktagen in Hamburg. Alexander Winn has been a founding member of the Opera et Cetera ensemble since 2011.
