The bass Lennart S. Kost is back at Oper Frankfurt, where he made his debut in a new production of Kurt Weill’s The Tsar wants his Photograph Taken and sang a Flemish Deputy Verdi's Don Carlos, to sing Melisso in Alcina's Magic Island, an opera for children. He also sang a Servant in Strauss's Ariadne auf Naxos and 1st Nobleman in Schreker's The Smith from Ghent at the National Theatre in Mannheim, where he has been studying with Prof. Timothy Sharp at the University for Music since 2018. He started his career singing with the Aurelius Choristers Calw. He has appeared with choruses including Stuttgart Chamber Choir and Theater Heidelberg’s chorus and is a member of the »buffoni« vocal ensemble.
