Dina Levit began her career at the music school in Tscheljabinsk, Russia, where she enjoyed success at various singing competitions and appeared in festivals. After studying at Tscheljabinsk’s Tchaikovsky University for Music she joined the Maimonides Academy in Moscow to concentrate on opera and study singing musicals further. After graduating she was engaged by the Basmannaya Music Theatre in Moscow. She has won prizes at international singing competitions and taken part in masterclasses, including one in Jerusalem, at which she sang Adele in Strauß’ Fledermaus. She has been studying at the University for Music in Mainz with Claudia Eder since 2019 and holds a scholarship from the Anni Eisler-Lehmann Foundation. As a member of the Barock Vokal Excellence Programme she has taken part in master classes held by people including Olaf Bär and Andreas Scholl. She is making her debut at Oper Frankfurt in the world premiere of Vito Žuraj’s Blühen in the Bockenheimer Depot.
