This New Yorker with Korean roots and winner of the Rheinsberg Kammeroper's singing competition, left Cologne Opera's opera studio to go under contract to Hessen's Staatstheater in Wiesbaden (2014-2024), where her many roles included Barbarina (Le nozze di Figaro), Flora (The Turn of the Screw), Amor (Orpheus und Eurydike), Gretel, Sandman and Dew Fairy (Hänsel und Gretel), Despina (Così fan tutte), a Maid (Elektra), Gianetta (L’elisir d‘amore), Adele (Die Fledermaus), Pamina, Papagena (Die Zauberflöte), a Forest Bird (Siegfried), Blonde (Die Entführung aus dem Serail),  Falcon / Temple Guardian (Die Frau ohne Schatten), Javotte (Manon), Kitchen Boy (Rusalka) and Ännchen (Der Freischütz). She now works freelance in Germany and Korea. This August she sings the title role in Janáček's Cunning Little Vixen  for the first time, in South Korea. Now she's back at Oper Frankfurt, where she jumped in at short notice to sing Suor Genovieffa in Puccini's Il trittico in July 2022, to save the day again by taking on the role of the Prostitute in Janáček's From the House of the Dead.
