Guillermo de la Chica works in dance, theatre and music. Born in Spain he gained his bachelors in dance at the HfMDK in Frankfurt where he worked with well known choreographers including Dieter Heitkamp, Johannes Wieland, Iván Pérez and Georg Reischl. Now he’s back at Oper Frankfurt, where he danced in Claus Guth's Der Rosenkavalier, Vasily Barkhatov’s Tchaikovsky’s The Sorceress, and Christof Loy's wonderful staging of Rimsky-Korsakov’s The Night before Christmas for this new production of Handel's Ottone. He has appeared at theatres including Hessen's State Theatre in Wiebaden, the Staatstheater in Darmstadt and theatres in Italy and Spain. He gained additional experience and inspiration in recent years taking part in interdisciplinary projects with artists including Gustavo Gomes, Tobias Staab, Robyn Orlin, Paula Rosolen / Haptic Hide, Amelia Uzategui and Katja Erdmann-Rajski.
