Eva Polne

Born in Israel, Ayelet Polne studied classical dance at the London Studio Centre and was taught privately by Patricia Aharoni. After graduating she joined the »Hamaslool« Young Artist Programme in Tel Aviv under Naomi Perlov's direction. While there she appeared on stage in projects including Le sacre du printemps and Firebird choreographed by Matz Ek. As a member of the ensemble at the Panov Ballet Theatre in Israel she was later seen in productions including Petruschka and Rock Requiem (choreography: David Campos) and Nutcracker and Libertango (choreography: Valery Panov). Tours have taken her to places including the Slaviansky Bazaar Festival in Vitebsk, Belarus. She has often appeared in operatic productions in recent seasons, including Christof Loy's Tannhäuser at the Het Muziektheater in Amsterdam and Rusalka at the Teatro Real de Madrid, which she also performed in when the production went to the Semperoper Dresden.
