There are probably very few organists who have such an enormous repertoire at their fingertips as Martin Lücker. He started playing »30 minutes of organ music«, twice a week,  in the St. Katharine Church in the heart of Frankfurt on September 1 1983, cementing his place in music life in the city.  He celebrates his 3900th 30 minutes on July 6 2023.

He was born in 1953 and taught in Hannover by Volker Gwinner and Vienna by the legendary Anton Heiller. The four prizes he won at international organ competitions in the early 1970s laid the foundation for a rich and varied career as an organist, juror, holder of masterclasses and editor. A busy concert career took him all over Europe and to North America, and the many church organs he has performed on have included the monumental «in Merseburg Cathedral and St. Sulpice in Paris, as well many important historical organs. He has appeared in concert with the NDR-Sinfonieorchester Hamburg, the Gürzenichorchester in Cologne, Tonhalle in Düsseldorf, the Frankfurt Museumsorchester, the Junge Deutsche Philharmonie and Ensemble Modern. Martin Lücker passed on his artistic experiences, great knowledge and love for music while working as a professor at the University for Music and the Performing Arts in Frankfurt am Main from 1998 - 2016

He continues the series of 30 Minutes Organ Music from April 1 2023 as »Senior Organist«, but will continue to be involved in masses and concerts.
