Toshinori Ozaki

Toshinori Ozaki began his career as a guitarist, winning a prize at the 1981 Kyushu Guitar Competition in Japan. He studied early music, specialising on the lute, at Osaka Music University and the University for the Music and the Performing Arts in Frankfurt until 1998. He has appeared in concert throughout Europe, in Japan and Taiwan with renowned ensembles including Camerata Köln, La Stagione Frankfurt, Les Musiciens du Louvre Grenoble, L'arpa festante in Munich, the Basel Chamber Orchestra, Le Parlement de Musique and at leading European opera houses (in Zürich, Vienna, Frankfurt, Ljubljana, Dortmund, Mainz, Darmstadt, Giessen, Kaiserslautern, Osnabrück, Wiesbaden and Wuppertal). He was, and can be heard, performing with his Viaggio Musicale ensemble and Ensemble d4 in operas and music on radio broadcasts and CDs.
