The British choreographer Claire Glaskin, who died in 2009, worked on many productions of operas staged by directors including Christopher Alden, David Alden, Olivia Fuchs, John Fulljames, Ian Judge, Janis Kelly, Aidan Lang, Stephen Lawless, Nikolaus Lehnhoff and Phyllida Lloyd at theatres including English National Opera, Opera Zuid in Maastricht, the Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona, Opera Australia and the Innsbruck Festwochen for Early Music. She also worked with Keith Warner on his Ring cycle in Tokyo and the Royal Opera House Covent Garden in London and at Oper Frankfurt on this production of La Cenerentola. She trained at the Laban Centre London and danced with the Terpsichore Dance Theatre Company and Bridges Touring Company. She later worked as a professor, at schools including the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art. She directed her own productions in the 1990s and worked as a choreographer at Norwegian National Opera in Oslo from 1993.
