Vienna born Walter Zeh founded the Philharmonia Chor of Vienna, which he has led since 2006, and has worked at the Baden-Baden Festival, the Ruhrtriennale, Salzburg Festival, Théâtre des Champs-Élysées in Paris, the Musikverein in Vienna, Konzerthaus in Dortmund, the Bremen Musikfest, Lucerne Festival and in Madrid, Buenos Aires, Japan and now, for the first time, at Oper Frankfurt. Walter Zeh has also taught singing and worked as a language coach for operas in Paris and Salzburg. Walter Zeh began his career in 1970 as a member of the Vienna State Opera's chorus, with whom he sang for 32 years. He also sang roles at theatres including the Bayerische Staatsoper in Munich, the Deutsche Oper Berlin, La Scala Milan, the Opéra National de Paris, the Salzburg Festival and in Japan. He enjoys a busy career singing in concerts and giving recitals at home and abroad.
