Oliver Gerndt is studying for his musicology bachelors degree and educational skills at the Goethe University Frankfurt am Main. After graduating as a curative nurse he taught guitar at the music university in Mörfelde-Walldorf. He worked at Oper Frankfurt for the first time assisting on last season's new production of Handel's Orlando, since when he runs surtitles during performances and gives introductory talks on operas.
