Stephanie Rauch's sets for operas at Oper Frankfurt to date were for this production of Janáček's Das schlaue Füchslein / The Cunning Little Vixen, directed by Ute M. Engelhardt, and Haddad's A Wintery Spring, Zelenka's Il serpente di bronzo und Navok's An unserem Fluss / By Our River, directed by Corinna Tetzel. She studied stage and film at the University for Applied Arts in Vienna and Wimbledon School of Arts in London. In 2008/09 she worked as a set designer's assistant at Schauspiel Frankfurt, during which time she worked with Olaf Altmann, Piero Vinciguerra, Thilo Reuter and Thomas Goerge. She then assisted Hans Schavernoch and Adriane Westerbarkey at Oper Frankfurt, and worked at the Steirische Herbst (autumn) and Schwetzingen festivals. She has been working freelance since 2010, combining set designs with art. Recent sets and installations have included Gelände at the Schillerplatz Gallery,  my shapes, your words, their grey (choreography: Philipp Gehmacher) and Ecto Fictions (choreographer: Ian Kaler) at the Tanzquartier in Vienna, On the Cusp with the Cullberg Ballet Company (Stockholm) and Points of Departure for Vienna's ImPulsTanz Festival.
