Naxos and the Cinéma am Rossmarkt are presenting it - at 11am on the eve of the fourth Sunday in Advent! - after which you have the chance to speak to Intendant Bernd Loebe and some singers.
Rimsky-Korsakov composed touching arias, chorus scenes, a ballet in the stars and very amusing moments inspired by Gogol, the importance of the winter solstice, folklore and song. Come and be swept away by the witch Solocha singing with the Devil while they fly through the air!
