Katharina Konradi (Soprano)
& Ammiel Bushakevitz (piano)

The young Kirghizian singer Katharina Konradi, who studied in Berlin and Munich, consolidated her place on the operatic map with Sophie in Barrie Kosky's Rosenkavalier at the Bayerische Staatsoper in Munich. After appearing at the Staatstheater in Wiesbaden she joined the ensemble at the Hamburg State Opera in 2018, since when she has enjoyed great success with roles including Ännchen, Zerlina, Susanna and Pamina. She sang Zdenka at the Semperoper in Dresden and the Shepherd in Tobias Kratzer's Tannhäuser production at the 2019 & 2021 Bayreuth Festivals. She has also made a name for herself on the concert platform, with works including the Brahms Requiem, and has given recitals at venues including the Schubertiade in Schwarzenberg and Wigmore Hall in London.  She is appearing in recital at Oper Frankfurt for the first time, accompanied by Ammiel Bushakevitz, who you might have heard here playing for Konstantin Krimmel and Anna Lucia Richter. Come and enjoy works by Mozart and Schubert and a conversation between the composers Clara und Robert Schumann.  Here's their programme!
