Tadas Almantas

The Lithuanian dancer and performer Tadas Almantas started training at the M.K. Čiurlionis National School of Arts in Vilnius before continuing his studies at the Codarts University for the Arts in Rotterdam and then the HfMDK in Frankfurt on a German scholarship, where he gained his bachelors and will soon complete his masters studies in Contemporary Dance Education (CoDE) at Frankfurt University. He has danced in Jacopo Godani's choreographed production Hollow Bones for the Dresden Frankfurt Dance Company and Ravens at the Festival for the Euro-Scene contemporary dance. He has taught at places including the Kammerspiel in Kaunas, Lithuania, the University of Arts in Stockholm and the HfMDK unterrichtet. Tadas Almantas is making his debut at Oper Frankfurt in the first revival of Tobias Kratzer's production of Nielsen's Masquerade.
