The soprano Michelle Bradley, who sings Leonora in this new production of La forza del destino (house and role debut), recently enjoyed great success as a very promising Verdi interpreter in staged performances of his Requiem at the Deutsche Oper Berling and as Aida in Nancy. This graduate of the Metropolitan Opera's Lindemann Young Artist Development has already appeared on stage in New York singing Clotilde in Norma, a Priestess in Aida and a role in Mozart's Idomeneo. Future plans include leading roles there and at the Lyric Opera of Chicago, San Francisco Opera, the Royal Opera House Covent Garden in London, the Vienna State Opera and San Diego Opera. Michelle Bradley made her debuts last year as Donna Anna (Don Giovanni) in Santiago de Chile, in Tippetts A Child of Our Time under Thomas Adès in the Philharmonie de Paris and sang in Verdi's Requiem with the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra. This winner of the George London Foundation's 2017 Leonie Rysanek Award has appeared in recital in Miami and New York. She studied at Bowling Green State University.
