The bass baritone Miroslav Stričević is back in Frankfurt, where he made his debut in 2015/16 as a Flemmish Deputy in Don Carlos, to sing 5th Servant again in this production of Capriccio. He recently made his debut at Cologne Opera, singing roles in Zimmermann's Die Soldaten and Orff's Die Kluge zu Gast. He was born in Serbia and studied at the University for the Arts in Bremen with Thomas Mohr and Krisztina Laki before continuing his vocal studies with Hedwig Fassbender at the University for Music and the Performing Arts in Frankfurt. Recent engagements have included Giove (La Calisto) at the Staatstheater in Darmstadt and Enrico (Haydn's L’isola disabitata) at the 2015 Rheingau Music Festival. During his time in Bremen his roles included Mozart's Figaro, the Forester (Das schlaue Füchslein / The Cunning Little Vixen) and Collatinus (The Rape of Lucretia). Miroslav Stričević, who is also much sought after for concert work, won 1st Prize at the »Lazar Jovanović« international singing competition and Serbia's National Singing Competition.
