The baritone Lukas Eder made his debut on the main stage at Oper Frankfurt, singing 2nd Servant in this new production of Capriccio, a role he repeats this season. He has also sang Don Magnifico in performances of La Cenerentola especially adapted for children and sang in on stage choruses (including Betulia liberata). This season he is the Narrator in Iván Fischer's children's opera Der Grüffelo in the Konzerthaus Berlin. Other engagements have included include Guglielmo (Così fan tutte), Papageno (Die Zauberflöte) and the title role in Nino Rota's La notte di un nevrastenico on stage at the University for Music in Würzburg, Monsieur Ribat (La fugitive) in Kaiserslautern and Schlemihl (The Tales of Hoffmann) at the Opernakademie in Bad Orb. Lukas Eder has also appeared at the Stadttheater in Koblenz, the Staatstheater in Mainz, Landestheater in Rudolstadt, the Opernfestival at Rheinsberg Castle and the Schwetzingen Festival.
