Vera Semieniuk studied at the universities of music in Munich, Detmold nd Augsburg and Bavarian Theaterakademie August Everding. She studied with Edith Wiens nd Gabriella Lichter-Maxande and took part in various masterclasses, including ones held by Brigitte Fassbaender, Hedwig Fassbender, Eytan Pessen and Brian Zeger. After completing her studies she was engaged byTheater Dortmund. Guest engagements have taken her to the Deutsche Oper am Rhein,  Staatstheaters in Wiesbaden, Karlsruhe and Braunschweig, Oper Kiel, the Theater Augsburg, the Städtischen Bühnen in Münster and Lübeck and the Kammeroper in München. She has also appeared in concert and opera with the Munich Rundfunkorchester under Ulf Schirmer, the WDR Rundfunkorchester and Ludwigshafen Staatsphilharmonie. She has been under contract to Theater Regensburg since 2012, where roles have included the title role in the work premiere of "Lola rennt".  She has also enjoyed great success singing Dorabella in Mozarts „Così fan tutte“, Cherubino in „Figaro“, Hänsel in Humperdincks „Hänsel und Gretel“ and Sesto in Handels „Giulio Cesare“. She sang these roles, and many others, in productions directed by Brigitte Fassbaender, Christoph Nel, Christine Mielitz, Tatjana Gürbaca, Olivier Tambosi, Dominik Wilgenbus, Andreas Baesler, Uwe Schwarz and Anette Leistenschneider. Vera Semieniuk received scholarships from the Richard-Wagner-Verband and „Live Music Now“ foundation. She was awarded the Bavarian Kultur Prize in 2008 and Bavarian Kunstförder Prize in 2013.
