The singer-songwriter Biber Herrmann is appearing on the operatic stage for the first time, as the narrator in Britten's Paul Bunyan. This Folk and Blues musician from the Rhein-Main-region has made a name for himself in the international Blues scene with his warm voice and splendid guitar playing, appearing in many concerts and at many festivals, performing his own compositions and Muddy Waters and Robert Johnson classics. Folk greats like Werner Lämmerhirt, Colin Wilkie and David Munyon have engaged him to play for recordings and concerts. From 2009 - 2013 Biber Herrmann partnered the legendary Fritz Rau on tour.
